A middle point...

I just heard some young activists for animal rights in a known station tapatía radio and although they are quite right in several points proposed , I do not like the activism that is a little misguided , because while I think every living thing has a certain degree of dignity, their position was a little extreme. They spoke about  several terrible aspects of bullfighting in which I totally agree with themBullfighting seems a shameful and cruel spectacle , but that was not the only issue addressed in the program, also touched on the point of holding cows for milk production . The point that pro - animal rights organization wielded was that cows were sucked relentlessly 24 hours a day and when I finally no longer producing milk the abandoned to die. This made me also think that seems cruel and pointless ... but it seems that the position of these girls was that drinking milk was bad. No. The problem is that the producers , when they do not agree with the payment offered to them for their product pour it on the road, although it has many people suffering malnutrition in Mexico and worldwide . But apparently this organization cares more about the welfare of animals than people .They spoke of a kind of " speciesism ," a concept that is new to me, but by no means incomprehensible. According to his view humans discriminate animals and slaves that uses them ; I think that they forget that humans are the dominant species thanks to our intelligence ...Do not get me wrong but these people seem to not know the concept of survival of the fittest . It is as if they called a wolf "monster " just for hunting; or is it really wrong to eat meat ?I'm sure humans have abused all nature for many centuries, but since the industrial revolution that the situation worsened more than ever. Mass extinctions of entire species due to habitat destruction and I think that really has no justification and is a great lack of awareness towards the environment . That each species is a natural treasure is lost forever disappears and is an issue that really worries me .The position of these girls on this point is identical to mine , but then got into a useless dissertation saying that people should have the same consideration with rats than with other humans ... pitiful.Overall its position seemed quite valid , but I think you always have to find a middle ground between the appalling and immoral practices of various industries exploiting or -animal stance " meat is bad " ( I do not understand they are so stupid at that point , did not know the groups of the food pyramid ? It's not all lettuce and whether I agree with them on the subject of cruelty in slaughterhouses , I really think that should be better regulated but I think , like everything in Mexico , I still need a lot of awareness on the part of society and the authorities .Now I'm going out for coffee ... but with milk, though some say it is immoral
